Treat your hair extensions to a satin or silk pillowcase to reduce friction, which can be a contributing factor in hair breakage. Also, every night, your hair should come down from any updo from the day; you don’t want to sleep with your hair up in a bun or ponytail. You’ll also want to take it down for brushing before bed and never go to sleep with wet hair.
