For the Bride: 2 to 3 months in advance
Like the caterer or florist, your wedding hairstylist can—and probably should—be booked far in advance of your actual wedding day. Often, early booking is needed so that you can work around the schedules of the most popular wedding vendors in the Lexington area. As soon as you have your hair and make-up person booked, you’ll want to start a schedule of haircuts leading up to the big day to ensure your locks will look their best when you’re walking down the aisle. Depending on your wedding hair style, you may want to plan with a stylist and consider additional time to grow out your hair or try a new color. You’ll also want to schedule in time a few weeks before the wedding to do a dry run and make sure your look is ready for the big day.
For the Bridal Party: 2 to 4 weeks in advance

On the other hand, if you’re coloring your hair but it’s a color you’ve worn for a while, then you’ll want your wedding haircut and color closer to the actual wedding day for a more vibrant look.

In general, when you’re a guest at a wedding and wanting to look your best, you’ll want to get your special occasion cut just before the wedding.
